Flip-flops – timeless footwear

The design of flip-flops as well as their name were inspired by traditional Japanese sandals. These light flip-flops are supported on the foot by two elastic straps merging at the front between two toes and are mounted at the sides forming a characteristic shape of the letter “Y”. Known in antiquity, today they are popular all around the world. They have become famous mainly thanks to surfers. Elegant models, including those with decorative elements, emblems with characteristic patterns of the brand, or unique weaves and belts are offered by Casadei, Guess, Karl Lagerfeld, Lauren Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and Tory Burch. Love Moschino proposes flip-flops with appliques and prints on the wedge. In its FW21 season portfolio, Melissa attracts attention with propositions with bows, made of pleasant to touch elastic fabric Mel-Flex – a mixture of rubber and plastic. Melissa’s shoes have a characteristic sweet smell of bubble gum. Birkenstock’s collection offers a wide range of shoes with insoles with a footprint system. The brand proposes leather models with an adjustable strap in many colors, including blue, black, brown, and metallic colors: pink, silver, and gold.
