Tommy Hilfiger at New York Fashion Week

We got inspired by the iconic motives translated in a modern way - says Tommy Hilfiger’s menswear director, Ingo Wilts during Wednesday fashion show of the brand at New York Fashion Week. Modernized aesthetic of the 70s' preppy style effortlessly taps into the whole array of patterns: geometric, paisley, and bandana.

- We looked through the archives to delve into the classic style that we like, such as the varsity jackets, longsleeves and the polos - to refresh the line - explained Wilts. The most eye-catching pattern? Florals. They made their way onto sweatshorts, track jackets, and gym bags. Spring collection pics right from the New York Fashion Week were shot by Gillian Sagansky.
