History of the Tous brand

The story of the Tous brand dates back to 1920, when Salvador Tous Blavi and Teresa Ponsa opened a small watchmaking workshop in the Spanish town of Manresa. Their passion for precise craftsmanship laid the foundation for what would become a family-run enterprise. A turning point came with the next generation—Salvador Tous, the founders’ son, took over the business and, together with his wife Rosa Oriol, set a new direction for the brand. In 1970, the couple opened their first jewellery atelier, focusing on creating pieces that quickly gained recognition across Spain. This success enabled gradual expansion beyond national borders, as Tous began to establish its presence in the fashion world, blending artisanal tradition with a modern approach to design.
