Stella McCartney – a new brand in Gomez!

Stella McCartney was born in London to a family of artists - her father was musician Paul McCartney, and her mother was photographer and activist Linda Eastman. She was already interested in fashion as a child - at the age of 15 she worked for designer Christian Lacroix. In 1995, she graduated from Central St Martins College of Art & Design, and almost immediately became recognizable for her excellent tailoring craftsmanship and bold aesthetics. In 1997, she became the creative director of the French fashion house Chloé.

Stella McCartney founded her own fashion house in 2001 and created her first collection. From the beginning of her fashion career, she focused on sustainable development and an ecological approach - she never used leather, feathers, or fur in her designs. Each year, the brand developed and implemented more and more interesting projects - in 2003 it launched the STELLA fragrance, in 2004 it established cooperation with the Adidas brand, and in 2008 it launched the first collection of underwear and a line for children.

In 2012 and 2016, Stella McCartney designed the British team uniforms for all competitions of the Summer Olympics. The designer also released a collection of swimwear, and then a line of men's clothing. In 2018, she founded the Stella McCartney Cares Foundation - a foundation supporting the sustainability and awareness of breast cancer.
